FACILITIES
The Haugen Pensjonat has 9 rooms on two floors.
Each room is 15 square meters and has a double bed and a sofa that can be turned into an extra bed. All rooms have windows and are identical.
Every two rooms share a bathroom and there is a separate toilet on each floor.
On the first floor there is a big kitchen where each room has its own fridge and its own cupboard. This means you can easily store and prepare your own food.
In the kitchen there is also a sofa group (and a television for those who want to stay in).
The building has wireless internet and laundry facilities.
Getting there and away
The airpost bus leaves from the airport after everyone have collected their luggage.
The bus stops by every hotel and you get of at the Spitsbergen Hotel. The Haugen Pensjonat is 75 meters away.
The same routine is repeated, obviously in the opposite direction, before the plane leaves.
There is also a taxi service.
Except from these two alternatives there is no public transport.

On the opposite side of the road you find the "Svalbardhallen" where there is a full size swimmingpool and a well equipped gym. Opening hours you find on their door or at http://svalbardturn.no.
